Circle Meeting, Guest Speaker Ruth Mancini

Ruth Mancini was born in South-West London and started her career as a marketing executive for a publisher before undertaking a post-graduate diploma in law and retraining as a solicitor. Ruth has spent the past twenty years in and out of courts and police stations, representing those accused of crimes. She now lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and two children but still practises as a lawyer for a large criminal law firm with offices in London, conducting advocacy in the courts and defending people arrested at the police station. She juggles her legal work with writing crime and psychological fiction.
Her debut crime thriller IN THE BLOOD was a SUNDAY TIMES Crime Club pick. She followed this in 2018 with the sequel ONE DARK, TWO LIGHT.
Ruth is also the author of the domestic suspense novels THE LIES YOU TELL and HIS PERFECT LIES.
Her latest crime thriller THE WOMAN ON THE LEDGE will be published by Century at Penguin Random House in spring 2024.
The meeting will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 6 March 2024. Everyone is welcome.
The meeting venue is the Taliesin Arts Centre (downstairs from the main auditorium), Swansea University Singleton Campus, Swansea SA2 8QD. There will also be a zoom link for those who can’t attend in person.
