Theme: ‘Market’
You can be as creative as you like with this idea. Your ‘Market’ could be any place or system where people buy and sell goods, commodities or concepts. It could be anytime, anywhere: down the road, online, in a secret location, in another dimension, on another planet or in deep space. The people using the market could be buying or selling anything, from bodies to bananas – and they might not even be people! The prizes will go to the best written and most original stories, so let your imagination run wild.

Length: 1000 to 2000 words

Closing date: 31 May 2019

Eligibility: Writers who are aged 14 to 21 on 31 May 2019 and living in Wales on that date may enter one story in their age category.

Results: Winners will be chosen in July 2019 and notified in due course. The names of the winners and shortlisted writers will be published on our website.

Rules: The Rules can be downloaded here. They contain important information about formatting your entry. Please read them before entering. Thank you!
